This little book is very nearly 10 years old – it’s hard to believe. The conversation around devotional practice, spirit work, and related topics was very, very different back at the time I was writing in 2007, so very different that I’m more aware than ever of the book’s shortcomings. Nonetheless, it represents an enormous personal accomplishment and continues to serve as a reminder that I still have a very long way to go.
