Statement of Purpose

This blog is primarily written to contain personal thoughts and reflections of a life spent loving the gods. As such, it is not always upbeat and positive, but it hopefully reflects a fundamental optimism about each human being’s inherent right to spiritual fulfillment. Because this blog and its contents are based on this basic assertion – that each human being deserves spiritual fulfillment, should they desire to pursue it – it wholeheartedly rejects bigotry and bias, including those bigotries that would arrest someone’s ability to seek meaningful and authentic numinous connection. This includes, but is not limited to: classism, ablism, racism, transphobia, transmisogyny, homophobia, and sexism.

In the pursuit of my own personal development I still have much work to do rooting out the biases that exist in my own heart and mind. The nature of privilege is that these things are invisible, and so I ask the patient compassion of others as I strive to recognize these many forms of harm in myself and in the world.
